Covid19 impacting on CAREERS of 2020

Like millions of people in my country, I am also following lockdown declared by our honorable Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi @narendramodi because of the outbreak of coronavirus COVID19. This is a high alert situation and like others, I am also learning many things about this outbreak by following social media and news channels. What I have observed in the last few days is “The world is not ready for this” and if you are a responsible citizen then this is a time where we have to help each other in all possible ways.
This outbreak is going to harm us in many ways and almost all the businesses and financial sectors will be get affected by this. Negative impact on Industrial factories, Tourism, hotels, IT and banks are visible even right now. This is like a nightmare for everyone. From the learnings of my life, I know that one day this will end.
“The bad thing of Good Times and The Good thing of Bad Times is – It Ends”
We are humans and we always learn from mistakes few done by us and few are done by others. When anyone has a problem they always ask a question to themselves and whether they are able to face that problem or not it depends on which kind of question they ask like.
Victim Question: Why this happen to us?
Winning Question: What’s next – I can do about it?
Obviously, I asked the second question to myself and I want each of my readers to ask this same question to yourself because what will happen in the future will not be in your hand what you can do about it is always in your hand. I am going to reveal some of the tough possibilities which are predicted by the world leaders and I am sure we all can face it with courage when we are mentally ready for it. Research shows that most people do not perform well when suddenly something bad happens but we all can handle it very well if we are mentally ready for it.
Leaders are Visionary
When I saw this situation and heard about coronavirus first time something strikes my mind it was like a Déjà vu but yes surely not in my dream. As in my profession, I admire and follow some of the world leaders and one of them is Mr. Bill Gates @billgates and I am following from my school days like a role model.
I still remember years ago I saw one video which was a TED talk give by Mr. Gates and he was talking about the exact same thing which is happening currently. At that time also world was not ready for this and today also we are not ready for it. If you have not seen it, I request you to have a look here.
As you can see, we are in a was kind of situation and the best we can do to fight with this is to main social distancing and stay at home. And as explained it looks like that in this Germs Game Covid19 coronavirus is winning.
Coronavirus Germs game
People 0: Coronavirus 1
If You are not liking the above result then we still have time by doing what’s required and making yourself ready for future challenges.
The BIG Question
Is this going to affect your current Job/Business?
Well, most probably the answer is YES.
I am sure you are aware of the recent news on more than 3 million people who filed their unemployment insurance last week in the United States and there are high chances that millions could lose health coverage during this global crisis. Currently only in the unites states we have more than 100000 corona positive cases and its increasing massively every day. Without a doubt, this is hitting the economy very badly and it will affect everyone. Somehow even if countries like India, Australia, U.A.E and Singapore will control the spread of the virus still after few months we have to face the biggest recession of all time because this virus has already impacted the U.S and European countries very badly. The total loss of this catastrophic event is unbearable.
We may have to face a shortage of the things we use in daily routine including food and medicines. Prices of many products will rise and many services will not be affordable for the common people. There are chances many businesses will survive because of the work from a home model and the digital facilities we have but there will be many who will lose their jobs and many small and big businesses will come to the end. These all are not new for those who have seen earlier recession of 2008 and there are high chances that this time it will be even worse. We have to be mentally ready for many situations which can go wrong or many unpredictable things which can happen.
You can read the details which are shared by the following article of a business insider on this. Article Link: https://www.businessinsider.com/states-most-financially-prepared-for-a-recession-2020-3?IR=T
The states and numbers which they have shown in this article were shocking and that’s also we should not forget that we are talking about one of the world’s most successful countries – The unites states. Unfortunately, we never have clear details understanding of these facts about countries like India which are still developing countries and comparatively the currency of such countries is also not that strong.
The Answer
If you are thinking what can be done from your side and whether this will affect your career or not then it totally depends on nature of your job/business and it also depends on your Job Role. In every Career right timing is a very important thing and if you are wise you will start preparations for this from today itself.

- Manufacturing industries will lose customers especially garments and toy manufacturers
If you are smart you will surely find a way to not only survive but grow exponentially in this situation.
